(¿happy?)
Ok, so the good comes with the bad really, and the bad comes with the good. I dealeated my blog, but that gave me a chance to start over from what we have been doing in Caracas until Marida.
We left Caracas and went to Valencia, I liked it at first sight, witch is were I made a therory, the first sight is almost always wrong, Valencia had really cool buildings, but nothing else was cool about it, as Andy put it, it was ´divey.´
Nothing interesting happened there, Trinchares was awesome though, there were hot springs and it was in a foresty area. And there were monkeys, we got the monkeys bananas but the liked the chips better.
We met a famaly and went to the beach with them, their kid liked harry potter and we had fun quzzing each other on it, though we stuck to the movies because he hadn´t read the books.
Yes, I KNOW I´m breazing through this, writing what I did is very boring.
then we went to Tucacas, I´d say what it means but I think Dawn already did. Andy said they didn´t mean to name it that, they named it after a word in a diffrent languige, like how they name things ´senica´ in usa. Tucacas was fun, we went to the beach, we got real sun burnt though, but going to the beach was like a vacation, and it´s not really a vacation without getting sunburnt, right?
Then we went to Adicora (Andy told me this was the order of the places that we went to, but I´m like 87% sure we went to Adicora AFTER Coro) Nothing to interesting happened there, we were going to go wind surfing, but we didn´t because it was a three day corse and we only wanted to sat for 2 days.
Then we went to Coro for Cristmas, I got a stuffed dog that I named after the city, I later learned Coro meant wind in the launguge that the people that lived there used to speak, they named it that because it was windy. Odd reason, yeah.
Thats were we met two nice Germans that thaught us the card game swimming.
Then we went to Seara sanluese and had to walk up a huge hill WITH our packs on, it at least gave me a chance to make up a story about the wind dragon on the peace flags.
Then we found a pasada and left our packs there and hiked through a national park, it wasn´t really like a national park though, it seemed more like a plantain park. We passed three mules carrying plantain leaves on our way up and Down.
That night there was a guy who knew maigic, there was this cool match stick trick, a gool straw trick, and a few puzzles I had to get undone, I got all of them done except this weird butten one that I worked for hours but could only get the string tangled. I would like to take this moment to point out that Hudini was a master at excaping from things, so I did NOT have anything to do with Hudini by undoing the puzzles.
The thing I liked most about the guy that showed us every thing was that he did not follow the ´magicions never tell their secrets´ rule. It was nice knowing how someone did something for once.
There was an amazing tree there, Andy put a photo of it on Flikr. It was nice, and 300yrs.
Then we walked down and got a car to Coro where we got a bus to Maracibo.
Wow....Maracobe... It wasn´t really hot there even though it was suppiosed to be the hottest city. Thats where they had those weird car things, they weren´t really go carts, and not really racing cars (though every one used them like it) but they were cool.
Our hotel was horrable the ONLY one were I couldn´t do my pushups, even is Valencia witch was bad I just washed my hands really well afterwards.
So, since it was so bad Dawn wanted to ´turn our pumpken into a carrige´ as she said. So we went to a weird resturant were we spun (it was the authers choice in The Lonly Planet) Andy and Dawn said the spinning made them feel odd, but for me, as long as I knew what part we were in all the time, I was fine. In The Lonly Plantet, it said that it took 2 hours for the .....spinningness? to make one round, but we were there an hour and a half about and it made one full spin plus about 5 or 10 feet.
Then we went top Marida on a night bus (hehe. It did NOT go 100 feet every 1 minute.....) Andy said that it would be there at about 7 or 6 but it got in at about 5.
Marida has been sort of uneventfull, we ran into one of the Germans, yeah, I feel bad about saying ´germans´ but I also feel bad about putting peoples names in the internet, so it´s a toss up. The other german had gone home.
Nothing else *gasp*
Okkkkkkkk fine, this blog is dedacated to Tiny Tawny who put a gun to my head to dedacate to to her.......
